BECOME ADDICTED to the journey

Become addicted to the PROCESS of self betterment;

From LOVE, not FEAR.

When we fall in Love with life, we become addicted to the journey of our evolution; in EVERY facet.

When we fall in Love with life, we stop seeing it as a continuous ONEUPMANSHIP where one is never satisfied; competing with and placing validation from others as most important.

We stop basing our WORTH on how much money we make, who we fucked, what job we have, what car we drive, how much we squat, what size wave we can surf, or any external accomplishment we FORCE ourselves achieve.

Life reveals itself a PETRI DISH where we get to: experiment, fail, hypothesize, fail, iterate, succeed, let that go, set new hypotheses, etc etc.

We have this golden opportunity to use this HUMAN life to Experience, Explore, Experiment, and Evolve.

Let’s become better partners, fathers/mothers, friends, businessmen, eat the highest quality food, lift heavier with better form, handstand longer, slap the whip surfing harder, move through our toxic additions, have better breathing mechanics, react to our triggers less, forgive faster, love more, be COMPASSIONATE to all, etc. etc.

I pray that we may all fall in love with this process; PLAYFULLY challenging ourselves in every arena for the benefit of ourselves, our families, future generations, and the COLLECTIVE at large.

Being alive in 2025 is a massive blessing. We get to be a part of THE SHIFT….

In other news, SURFING offers us another powerful real world example/lesson;

It’s not the DESTINATION. (Get barreled at Pipeline, North Shore Oahu)

It’s the JOURNEY.

In 10 years, I’ll look back and think DAMN, I used to suck at surfing, ______, _____ (insert what you’re learning).

10 years ago, I was just trying to “GET OUT past the white wash” (move beyond beginner stage).

And, TODAY, this is my current level.

And, I’m STOKED about it.

And, I’m HUNGRY for more.

YAH,
